Crane Driver

• Deliver comprehensive training sessions on crane operation, safety protocols, and best practices.

• Develop and update training materials and curriculum to align with industry standards.

• Assess student performance through practical evaluations and written tests.

• Provide hands-on instruction in a warehouse environment, demonstrating proper crane operation techniques.

• Maintain an organized training area, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.

• Communicate effectively with students to address questions and provide feedback on their progress.

• Collaborate with management to identify areas for improvement in the training program., * No license is needed for in-house crane training, as this will involve buddy training.

• Full PPE will be provided.

• You’ll be working in a modern facility with well-maintained equipment.

We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Crane Operator Driver to join our team in Ardley. This vital role focuses on training aspiring crane operators, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to operate cranes safely and efficiently. If you have strong mechanical expertise and excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you!, * Proven experience as a crane operator with a valid certification.

• Strong mechanical knowledge related to crane operation and maintenance.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Experience in a warehouse or similar environment is advantageous.

• Ability to drive various vehicles, including flatbed lorries or vans, is preferred.

• Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations.

• Previous experience as an instructor or trainer is beneficial but not essential.

• Familiarity with joystick-operated machinery is a plus., * Driving: 1 year (preferred)

• crane driver: 1 year (preferred)

• joystick operate: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)

• Forklift Licence (preferred)

Salary: £14 per hour (overtime over 40 hours at 1.5x rate; bank holidays at 2x rate)

Working Days: 2-3 days a week, with potential for extra shifts on weekends and for covering sick/holiday absences
