Job Purpose To provide efficient, professional, and welcoming administrative support for the smooth day-to-day operation of the school. The School Administrator will act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff, maintaining high standards of organisation, communication, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Reception & Communication Act as the first point of contact for telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries. Greet visitors in line with safeguarding procedures and maintain the visitors’ log. Respond promptly and professionally to queries from parents, carers, staff, and external agencies. Administration Provide general clerical and administrative support including filing, photocopying, and handling correspondence. Maintain accurate pupil records, attendance registers, and databases (SIMS/Arbor or similar MIS). Assist with the preparation of reports, letters, newsletters, and school communications. Support the organisation of meetings, events, and trips, including minute-taking where required. Finance & Resources (as appropriate) Assist with financial administration such as processing orders, invoices, and petty cash in line with school procedures.
