Our superb client in the Property Damage Restoration sector is seeking a number of Trainee Restoration Technicians owing to business growth. Working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm covering the Midlands part of the UK. It is essential that you have a full UK manual driving licence (no more than 6 points on licence) and your own transport to be considered for the role.
As a Trainee Restoration Technician, you will be involved in the restoration of commercial and some residential properties following events such as fire or flooding. You will be responsible for stripping out properties of their fixtures and fittings following water / fire damage, setting up equipment to begin and complete the drying out process so that the property can be restored back to full use. You will upload project reports and updates to company claims management system. You will attend team meetings and will be required to travel extensively and stay away from home regularly during the week and when required in fully expensed accommodation with a meal allowance.
To be considered for the role of Trainee Restoration Technician , you will have previous experience in a similar damage restoration or construction labouring position where you have worked extensive with building materials, you will have manual dexterity, pc literate and a good level of general education. You will have excellent communication skills along with empathy and customer service skills. You must be able to work away from home on a regular basis and sometimes at short notice.
For the role of Trainee Restoration Technician, our client is offering a starting salary £25,000 with overtime over 40 hours, company vehicle, laptop, mobile phone, 25 days paid annual leave, plus statutory holidays, pension, life assurance after probationary period, social events, career training and progression.
