Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League are looking for a full time Cleaning Operative to support the day to day running of its operations across all properties in the Club’s portfolio. The vacancies will be based at the bet365 Stadium but you may also be required to work at the Clayton Wood Training Ground, the Academy Dome and other facilities as needed. Please note, this is a year-round position and not seasonal.

The successful applicant will join a dynamic and friendly team, responsible for cleaning all areas of the stadium and hospitality spaces, including matchday and post-match cleaning requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Performing general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming.
  • Managing waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment by following all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Completing cleaning duties to a high standard while adhering to cleaning schedules, company processes and policies.
  • Demonstrating a strong understanding of COSHH regulations and ensuring safe handling, storage, and disposal of cleaning chemicals.

The ideal candidate will be flexible and be available to work evenings and weekends to support matchday fixtures and other ad-hoc events at the bet365 Stadium.

The positions will be offered on a full-time basis, and all relevant training will be provided.
