Job Title – Cisco Network Engineer (On-site in Dorset)

Cisco Network Engineer is required to work in a small Network Engineering team based on -site near Poole in Dorset. The role is 4 days on site and 1-day remote working. You will be supporting up to 750 users that are located remotely and onsite.

The role is paying up to £65,000 per annum plus benefits.

Cisco Network Engineers wishing to be considered must be able to demonstrate at a face-to-face interview that they are Cisco Network Engineering Specialists' and that they have an in-depth understanding of the following;

• Cisco Switches and Routers
• Cisco Meraki Firepower
• FortiGate Firewalls
• DHCP/MPLS/VPLS, DNS (BIND & Microsoft DNS), voice/video integration – SIP, IP-PBX, SBC.
• Cisco/HP Core and Edge Networking
• Cisco Firewall technologies (ASA/Firepower)
• Cisco VPN Solutions
• Citrix
• Fortinet
• Meraki
• Network Security including Network Segregation
• Fibre cabling including splicing

As outlined by the hiring manager this role is a 80/20% split of project and BAU work.

Some knowledge of MS Azure will be beneficial but not essential as our client will provide training
