The Recruitment Bunker are recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer for a leading company based in Coventry.
Reporting into the Programme Director the Project Engineer will play a pivotal role utilising various techniques to ensure that the project deliverables are completed to a high standard in line with the overall project timing.

Responsibilities
- Company Policies: Manage and follow the quality, health, safety, and welfare policies of the company
- To oversee project budgets and supervise the preliminary stages of major projects
- Assessing production costs and other vital data pertaining to the project
- Compiling data derived from reports, revising time schedules according to necessity overseeing the quality of work at project site
- Support project review meetings
- Liaise with Engineering teams, Manufacturing teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure the timely closure of all actions
- Responsible for the general management of the development and production stages of projects
- Produce product design and development plans
- Ensuring all safety & legal requirements are being followed, interpreting clients’ necessities, pinpointing, and addressing engineering problems and implementing solutions.
Essential Skills
- Strong experience of working within an Automotive/Manufacturing environment with relevant experience as a Project Engineer within interiors / exteriors or within a Project Support/ Management role, in a fast paced, forward-thinking business
- Liaise and communicate with other departments, suppliers, and other service providers
- Ability to manage one’s own time, multitask and prioritise workload accordingly
- Proven record of people & project management
- Proficient in project management tools, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software
- Ability to produce reports and conduct meetings
- Plans work and cascades to team
- Integrates departmental planning with other business units
- Demonstrates good emotional intelligence, ethics, and professionalism
- Organised, Methodical but Flexible approach to workload
- Must have IDLR/ Full right to work in UK- Sponsorship will not be provided.
Desirable Skills
- Experience and knowledge of designing project guidelines and procedures
- Can lead moderate teams
- Engineering degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
