Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Manager to oversee the commercial performance of our organization, including its international subsidiaries. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, optimizing profitability, and ensuring the organization meets its strategic and financial objectives. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and geographies.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Develop and implement the company’s commercial strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
- Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to identify growth opportunities across global markets.
- Ensure compliance with international regulations and business practices.
Financial Performance Management
- Monitor the commercial performance of the group and its subsidiaries, including revenue, profit margins, and cost management.
- Establish and oversee a comprehensive set of key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure success and drive accountability.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and report findings to senior leadership.
Business Development and Revenue Generation
- Lead initiatives to expand market share, drive sales, and enhance customer relationships.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and partnerships to maximize profitability.
- Support the development of new products, services, or market-entry strategies.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to align commercial activities with business objectives.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to regional and subsidiary commercial teams.
- Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and accountability.
Market Intelligence and Risk Management
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with commercial operations, including currency fluctuations, geopolitical issues, and market volatility.
- Monitor customer feedback and industry trends to ensure the company remains competitive and responsive to market demands.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in a commercial management or similar role within an international organization.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Familiarity with international trade practices, compliance requirements, and cultural nuances.
