We are currently looking for an assistant to replace Kasia who is relocating to Spain. We are a 6 vet independent small animal practice in Birmingham with two sites. Our salary package is 35-80k depending on experience and qualifications with accommodation available if required. The position could be full time or part time.
We are happy and proud to be one of the few independent practices left in our area. We have a stable experienced team of vets/nurses and support staff. We set no sales targets for staff to meet. We aim to provide a safe and enjoyable work space and feels this helps to generate a positive work ethos which generally makes working at and visiting our practice a fulfilling experience.
The position would suit either an experienced vet or a colleague with limited experience. We have two GDP advisors within the practice and a semi retired colleague is available to mentor a less experienced surgeon on a one to one basis initially, while the candidate gains more surgical confidence.
We have a certificate holder in medicine with a further colleague about to complete a certificate in dentistry. There are also orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeons who visit the practice on a regular basis. CPD is encouraged and funded and a colleague looking to complete a certificate would be especially welcome.
Also available as part of the package is a 2 bedroom flat in Coleshill, North Warwickshire
Our practice has all the usual equipment you would expect at a GP small animal practice, please see .
