We are seeking an HR Assistant to join a team at a unique institution. This temporary role is based on site in Blackburn. The HR Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department by ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process for new employees.
Day-to-day of the role:

Monitor the HR inbox and respond to queries in a timely manner.

Prepare onboarding materials, including welcome packets, employee handbooks, and other necessary documentation for new hires.

Assist with the completion and submission of new hire paperwork, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. This includes employment contracts, DBS & reference checks, and benefits enrolment forms.

Input new starter details onto the payroll system.

Manage the addition of cover and annual leave requests onto the internal HR system, maintaining accurate records.

Excellent organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently, this is a busy department and will be a fast-paced role.
