Job Description:

Join in a pivotal role that integrates business and technology resilience, offering a unique opportunity to shape the firm\’s comprehensive resiliency strategy. As the Resiliency Executive Director, you will lead the implementation of a robust resiliency framework that encompasses both business and technology domains. Your expertise will drive the continuous improvement of the firm\’s Operating Framework, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory obligations. You will also identify, manage and exercise our Important Business Services and Critical Points of Failure.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Development: Design and implement a comprehensive resiliency strategy that integrates business and technology risk management to mitigate risks associated with disruptive events.
  2. Framework Implementation: Lead the development and deployment of the Operating Framework, tooling, and guidance to support effective planning, testing, and exercising of critical services.
  3. Risk Management: Conduct regular risk and impact assessments of business and technology systems to identify vulnerabilities and recommend controls to strengthen resilience.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including Application Owners, Delivery Managers, Tech and Business Control Managers, and regulators, to ensure alignment and integration of resiliency practices across the firm.
  5. Monitoring and Reporting: Achieve risk and performance measures to continuously validate and assess the effectiveness of resiliency controls, incorporating them into reporting and escalation processes.
  6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, supporting regulatory engagements and audits.
  7. Incident Response: Participate in incident response, planning and root cause analysis to ensure quick recovery from disruptions. Oversee regulatory major incident reporting.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  1. Extensive experience in a regulated industry, focusing on risk management, resiliency, program management, or controls.
  2. Proficient knowledge in core infrastructure technologies and experience with cloud provider products and services.
  3. Strong ability to influence and drive change, with a proactive approach to identifying potential issues and implementing practical solutions.
  4. Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse, high-performing team of Resiliency Managers across regions.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead discussions with internal management, auditors, regulators, and senior stakeholders.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  7. Expert in managing relationships, partnering with stakeholders and resolving conflict to deliver solutions that meet the needs of the business.
  8. Excellence in High-Pressure Environments: Demonstrated leadership in crisis management, strategic stress management, task prioritization, and sound decision-making, with the ability to excel in problem-solving, swiftly adapt to dynamic situations, and lead teams with confidence during challenging times.
  9. Experience supporting regulatory engagements and audits aligned with FFIEC financial industry guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  1. Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity and risk management frameworks, including experience with NIST, CIS, ISO/IEC 27001.
  2. Proven ability to build, lead, and empower diverse global teams to collaborate and execute in a cross-functional environment.
  3. Relevant certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA are preferred.
  4. Bachelor\’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration, Risk Management, Resiliency related discipline.
