As described above, this is a ground up operation. You will be tasked with advising on residential transactions on a day-to-day basis, whilst working with the CEO and Compliance officer to help grow the residential arm. This is an all-hands-on deck project that will see a lot of hard work in the early days, but the rewards will be worth it.

Without breaking a sweat, the CEO is capable of producing 10-20K in leads a month for the adviser to write. But someone with their own client bank is preferred to help speed up growth plans.

Alongside this you will be aiming to grow the team to a point where your reliance from the CEO is that of a COO role., Some of the main responsibilities of the role will be:

  • Liaising with clients to build and maintain relationships for repeat business

  • Having great relationships with lenders

  • Helping to improve the processes

  • Identify and contact potential clients to build and develop a strong client base.

  • Gather and analyse client information to identify specific needs and conduct sufficient research to make suitable recommendations.

  • Complete all supporting documentation with precision and accuracy.

  • Deliver a level of service as agreed with each client in a timely manner.

  • Stay updated with new products, technical advancements, and legislative changes within the marketplace.

  • Abide by the requirements of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and the FCA’s Principles, Rules, and Code of Practice for Approved Persons.

  • Consistently meet performance standards outlined in the firm’s Key Performance Indicators.

  • Undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to maintain and enhance competence and skills.

  • CeMap Qualified or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Regulated Mortgage Adviser

  • Proven track record of mortgage sales

  • Ability to analyse loan applications and supporting documents

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • A solid understanding of the UK property market

  • Positive and proactive attitude

  • Great Lender relationships

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Strong understanding of FCA and MCOB regulations

  • Ability to analyse loan applications and supporting documents

  • Great emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills, * Regulated mortgage advising: 5 years (required)
