Following a great meeting with this dynamic construction company on a significant growth trajectory, they are looking to strengthen their management team by appointing a site manager.
Projects would be in the commercial & industrial sectors up to £3m, predominantly in the Yorkshire region – although the first project would be in South Yorkshire.
Job Role & Responsibilities:
The role would suit an experienced site manager with duties to include:
- Site Setup
- Reading Drawings
- Daily Diaries, Tool Box Talks
- Overseeing subcontractors to ensure quality and programme are achieved
- Material call offs
- Crane/Lifting Ops
- Ensuring RAMS and Company H&S procedures are adhered to
- Liaison with architect, Clerks of Works & other stakeholders
Qualifications/Background:
- Recognised construction related qualification (NVQ, HNC, HND etc)
- SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
- Ideally will have worked in the industrial & commercial sectors
