Our client, Cross Manufacturing, based in Midford, Bath, will be looking to recruit an additional Operative to work within their ‘bagging area’.
Cross are world leading manufacturers of aerospace seals, aircraft piston rings, and custom seal rings for aircraft engines, steam turbines, vehicle turbochargers, control valves and many other industrial environments.
This role is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual, responsible for placing various products into bags for shipment and meeting all quality standards prior to dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pack and label products in accordance to company procedures for shipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bagging area.
- Monitor stock levels of packaging materials
- Assist with inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all quality control standards and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of packaging and shipment activities
- Follow health and safety regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality.
- Previous experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Good manual dexterity and the ability to handle small, delicate components.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
This roles will see you working 39 hours per week – Monday to Thursday (Apply online only) and Friday (Apply online only)
This position will require you to be stood or sat for long periods, and certain aspects can be physically demanding. You must be capable of lifting and moving items up to 12 kg, if required.
