The Opportunity/Role
We have an interesting new vacancy for a Quality Test Engineer. Based at our manufacturing facility in Huntingdon, the successful candidate will be responsible for completing various testing processes ensuring products provided to our customers are of the highest standards.
- Complete batch release testing in a safe, accurate and timely manner to limit the risk of any non-conforming product being released for despatch to customers.
- Initiate containment and corrective actions for test failures and deviations from the acceptable standards.
- Complete Line Audits to assess SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality).
- Assist/support with audits from regulatory bodies.
- Maintain test records to ensure traceability.
- Manage stocks of test equipment and consumables.
Requirements:
- ‘Hands On’ Experience of batch release testing including Tensile, Peel, Pressure, Reversion, Impact, Material (MFI / Density / OIT), Metrology.
- Experience of assessing Product Quality Attributes versus Standards and Specifications to determine if product is fit for purpose and will meet customer requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail.
