Production Supervisor

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure smooth operations.

• Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet targets while maintaining quality standards.

• Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and productivity.

• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery, performing basic maintenance as needed to ensure optimal performance.

• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and resolve any operational issues that may arise.

• Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, waste generated, and compliance with safety regulations.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced evening Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day to day operations of our production department, lead a team of approximately 8-20 production staff and ensure compliance with health and safety standards is adhered to at all times.

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and have experience of managing a team, preferably within the manufacturing industry. You must be able to work under your own initiative and be confident in your decision making abilities., * Proven experience in a supervisory role within the Manufacturing industry.

• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively is highly desirable.

• Basic maths skills for calculating production metrics and managing inventory are necessary.

• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.

• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and other departments.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail is crucial for success in this role.
