Design Manager
We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our client’s dynamic team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing and coordinating the design process for high-profile construction projects across various sectors. You will work closely with clients, consultants, and project teams to ensure design excellence, innovation, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the design process from concept through to completion, ensuring compliance with project requirements and regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to drive innovative and cost-effective design solutions.
- Review and approve design specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Ensure design deliverables are met within project timelines and budgets.
- Identify and mitigate design risks while maintaining project quality and safety standards.
- Liaise with planning and building control authorities to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide leadership to the design team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Support bid and tender submissions by reviewing and enhancing design proposals.
Requirements:
