Role: Meeting & Events Executive

Location: London

Salary / Rate of pay: From £14.00 per hour

Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a popular 4 Star Hotel in London and we have a fantastic opportunity for an immediate Meeting & Events Executive to join their team on an interim basis, starting this month.

What’s in it for you?

  • Monday and Friday (Office hours) – no weekends

  • Weekly pay (paid each Friday)

What’s involved?

  • Assist in the planning and execution of meetings and events, ensuring all logistics are meticulously arranged.
  • Utilise Delphi software for event management, including booking, tracking, and reporting functionalities.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure all aspects of the event are aligned with client expectations.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions that meet their needs.
  • Prepare detailed event proposals, contracts, and post-event reports for internal review and client feedback.
  • Manage on-site logistics during events to ensure smooth operations and address any issues promptly.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all events in the Delphi system for future reference and reporting purposes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an M&E Executive or similar role within the hospitality or event management industry
  • Essential experience with Delphi software is mandatory for this position
  • Immediately available with the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to interact professionally with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities
