We are looking for a Head of Payment and Collections Network Development with strong experience in development and enhancing of payment and collections capabilities globally.
In this role, you will:
- Continue to evolve Convera’s world class global payment and collection network to optimize functionality, efficiency, and resilience
- Grow the mix of traditional bank partners, alternative payment networks, and direct clearing capabilities
- Work closely with key internal stakeholders on the company’s network strategy to ensure the achievement of both near and long-term strategic objectives
- Provide insight on global payment and collection trends to inform overall company strategy and resource deployment
- Drive informed decision-making to optimize the payment and collections network and deliver overall results and outcomes for Convera
- Facilitate cross functional stakeholder groups to prioritize and ensure aligned strategic objectives
- Drive informed decision-making on competing network related priorities to optimize overall results and outcomes
- Manage and track progress against clearly defined performance indicators
- Be a self-motivated go-getter who is willing to take on work outside your comfort zone, and works well in ambiguity
- Be highly data/insights-led – laying out the evidence when presenting recommendations to the C-suite and other senior leaders to make choices
- Be a culture-carrier as a critical member of an empowered and enthusiastic team who partners well throughout the organization
- Play a key role in transforming Convera into one of the premier business payments and FX platforms in the world
A successful head of payment and collections network development should ideally have:
- Strong experience in building and managing global payment and collections network (7+ years experience)
- Experience in payments, FX, banking and/or the Fintech space
- Highly structured ways of working and outstanding problem solving skills with an emphasis on data-driven decision making, even when you don’t have all the data
- Strong communication skills – able to present arguments simply & logically, including use of verbal and written communication to express ideas clearly and succinctly
- Strong influencing & interpersonal skills – you earn respect and can execute through influence; able to build productive and positive relationships at all levels across the org
- Ability to both think strategically and have a practical bias for action with an “ownership” mentality; will deep dive to drive execution in a fast-paced environment
- Practical in how to execute the transformation agenda – willing to work hands on to help coach teams on best approaches to deliver results
- Humble, can-do attitude with a learning mindset and ability to thrive in ambiguity; you are intellectually curious, have a passion for excellence and want to make a big impact
- Works well in a fast-paced fintech, PE backed environment
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word – skilled in business logic development, analytics/modeling and communication to executive audiences
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA preferred from an accredited educational institution
- Able to travel as required
