The interiors team works as an in-house resource for Ocee International’s group of companies. The purpose of the role is to provide space planning and interior solutions for Ocee International’s group of Companies, creating designs and themes for all showrooms, exhibitions, fayres, and larger marketing projects including photoshoots.
As Interior Designer you will work alongside your colleague in the absence of the Head of Interiors who will be on maternity leave to provide support to both internal and external sales teams across the Group.
Responsibilities
- Producing creative and inspirational 3D interior design presentations using Pcon Planner and Adobe Creative Suite
- Keeping up to date on industry trends to ensure you are creating interesting and relevant content for clients.
- Visiting design shows, events and workshops relating to these and sharing with the marketing team.
- Liaising with BDMs, dealers and clients on projects and interpreting a brief to provide creative design solutions with a focus on spatial planning and layouts.
- Creative input on product visuals, visual brand Identity and photoshoots.
- Expanding knowledge of sustainable practices specifically fabrics/finishes and product from our portfolio
Required Skills
- An understanding of workplace design and other sectors including education.
- Strong creative skills
- Experience of stand design/exhibition spaces would be ideal
- Previous experience on Pcon Planner or similar 3D software (beneficial but not essential)
- Ability to work as part of a team and individually, using initiative.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with a high level of accuracy
- Good numerical skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly understand and use IT systems.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to operate at all levels.
- Ability and desire to take responsibility and make decisions.
