Our Client has opportunities for General Operatives, based in their Scarva sites, to join an industry leader in the UK's Building Services sector, delivering a wide range of off site-prefabricated, innovative, and sustainable building service solutions throughout the UK & Europe. These are permanent full-time roles with an excellent training program to progress.

Job Summary

  • Hours vary dependent on site:
  • Site 1 - Mon to Thurs 7am to 5pm, Fri 7am to 4pm
  • Site 2 - Mon - Thurs 7am - 4.30pm, Fri 7am - 1.30pm
  • Salary: Competitive depending on experience
  • Key Responsibilities

    • Site 1:
    • Assembling modular frames.
    • Heat wrapping & packaging modules for dispatch.
    • Load and unload deliveries.
    • Operation of engineering equipment, also hand and power tools.
    • Preparing material for fab facility.
    • Maintenance and general housekeeping.
    • Adhering to health and safety policies at all times.
  • Site 2:
    • Assisting the Fabrication and Assembly Team.
    • Train on the Saw and Beveller, so cover can be provided in the case of absenteeism.
    • Support the Material Preparation Area.

    Essential Criteria:

    • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
    • Previous assembly experience.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
    • Ability to read a measuring tape and use hand and power tools.

    Desired Criteria:

    • Valid CSR Card.
    • Current Forklift license.
    • Current Telehandler license.
