We’re looking for a Senior Buyer to lead strategic procurement activities across our indirect spend categories, delivering best-in-class sourcing strategies and building lasting supplier relationships. This role plays a key part in supporting Certas Energy and wider DCC businesses, ensuring value, compliance, and innovation across the procurement lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading and coordinating tenders, supplier selection, and contract negotiations
- Developing and implementing sourcing strategies aligned to functional and business needs
- Driving supplier performance through robust Supplier Relationship Management and quarterly performance reviews
- Building strong internal stakeholder partnerships to promote procurement best practices and compliance
- Managing full contract lifecycle—from analysis and negotiation to execution and performance tracking
- Contributing to sustainability efforts by ensuring supplier alignment with our environmental goals
- Deputising for the Director of Indirect Procurement when required
- Working autonomously to deliver against company strategy and procurement goals
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience managing complex tenders at pace within indirect procurement
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities at all levels
- Knowledge of supplier management, contract law, and procurement compliance
- Experience working with KPIs, SLAs, and balanced scorecards
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently with minimal supervision
- Understanding of compliance areas including GDPR, IR35, and PCI
