This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in working in both a training and digital healthcare role to support our Electronic Health Record (Epic) system which went live in April 2019. We are looking for a skilled, experienced and enthusiastic trainer to join our innovative Epic Training team.

To help us to achieve this vision, we are looking for passionate individuals to join our training team.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Credential trainer, you will deliver Epic training to staff across all professions. A good understanding of key clinical workflows and terminology is therefore required, with clinical experience desirable. You will assist on the design and delivery of allocated Epic training courses; assist with quality improvement projects relating to Epic design and implementation; work closely with specialist leads and educators, and be part of the Epic super-user community we have here at UCLH. This role is being introduced to work on the Patient Self Scheduling Programme across the organisation with a dedicated team of analyst and trainers.
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic team member who can adapt to this fast-paced and broad role. Applicants will require strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and adjust priorities quickly to the rapidly changing needs of a large teaching hospital.

Knowledge and Qualifications
Essential criteria
- General education to degree level, equivalent professional qualification or equivalent experience
- Excellent operational knowledge of specific clinical areas including relevant operational policies and procedures
- Have been assessed at, or be willing to work towards, the standard of training delivery expected of an EPIC Credentialed Trainer
- Ability to understand the requirements of a work effectively within a demanding project and programme environment
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience in designing and delivering clinical systems training
- Previous NHS or Healthcare experience
- Previous experience of working within a complex, change-driven environment
Skills and Abilities
Essential criteria
- Resilient approach and flexible attitude to work
- Sound organisational skills; ability to prioritise demanding workload in a high pressure and very challenging environment, maintaining delivery of quality outputs to tight deadlines
