THE ROLE
DMC are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Consultant Radiologist post completion of subspecialisttraining in diagnostic neuroradiology, to join our group.
Required training, experience and abilities include:
- Full GMC Registration
- CCT in Radiology and/or entry on the Specialist Register in Clinical Radiology
- Completed general training in Radiology and Diagnostic Neuroradiology at specialist level in a recognisedcentre
- Experience and skills in a subspecialist area of neuroradiology and willingness to develop these aspectsfurther
- Understanding of and willingness to participate in clinical governance and audit activities
- Work as much or as little as you want, when and where you want.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• To work in close co-operation with other clinical, allied medical and managerial colleagues to provide high quality healthcare.
• To conduct all work within contractual requirements and in accordance with the Trust’s procedural and operating policies.
• Together with the other Consultant Neuroradiologists, provide a high quality diagnostic neuroradiology service, with shared responsibility for covering the service.
• Contribute to audit programs.
• Support the management of the neuroradiology department and the wider clinical radiology care group.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Qualifications & Training
• Primary medical degree
• FRCR or equivalent
• Full registration with the General Medical Council with a valid license to practice
• Inclusion on the Specialist Register / Admission to the Register within 6 months of interview
