Senior Baker SW London
Location:Wandsworth Road, London (please check your commute)
Salary:£40,000 per annum + great benefits
Hours:48 hours, 5/7days, 1-4am starts
An exciting opportunity for an experiencedSenior Bakerto join a highly skilled team in a state-of-the-art production kitchen in SW London. You will work closely with the Head Baker, leading and mentoring the team to produce exceptional speciality breads and viennoiseries using the finest ingredients.
This is an exclusive, innovative environment where precision, technique, and creativity are highly valued. The role requires strong leadership, a passion for artisanal baking, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the Head Baker and team of 7 in leading daily production, ensuring consistency and excellence
- Train, mentor, and oversee junior bakers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team
- Maintain the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and hygiene in the bakery
- Innovate and refine recipes, working with the Head Baker on seasonal product development
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
