Security Project Engineer

Description of contract/programme of works:

• Manage electronic security projects, including supervising sub-contractors and overseeing installations.

• Undertake commissioning of systems, ensuring they are properly tested and commissioned.

• Verify equipment specifications at the pre-installation stage.

• Develop and manage site-specific method statements and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety requirements.

• Liaise effectively with customers and contractors to maintain strong communication and satisfaction.

• Assist in producing O&M documentation and provide adequate customer training.

• Systems to be Installed and Commissioned:

• 1st and 2nd fix works on access control, intruder, and CCTV systems.

• Husky NVRs and Milestone video management system.

• Access control (Symmetry), intruder alarms (Galaxy), and intercoms (Commend).

• Install and test Hanwha cameras, PA buttons, and access speakers (plug and play).

• Minimum of 5 years commissioning and supervising security systems projects.

Required documentation/certifications/tooling:

• CSCS/ECS certification (beneficial).

• SSSTS certification (beneficial).

• G4S vetting completed (essential).

• Own hand tools, laptop, and PPE to be supplied by the contractor.
