Job Description
About the Role
The Analyst is hiring for an in-house Audio and Video Producer. In this role, you'll coordinate, shoot, and edit dynamic audio and video content that supports our research and marketing efforts. Reporting directly to our Head of Creative, you'll play a key role in shaping our visual and audio storytelling, with a focus on three core areas:
- Research Videos: Lead and continue to develop The Analyst’s established video brand with our institutional investor client base. Our Research video content is currently produced as short, piece to camera content in a news report style with our Research team presenting their own work
- Audio Content: Responsible for the setup and recording of weekly audio content to compliment our research output. This is an area of innovation for The Analyst, with the opportunity to shape our audio brand and develop content in a new format for the business.
- Marketing Assets: Collaborate with our Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Creative to continue building our bank of marketing assets. This area is an opportunity to help shape The Analyst brand with a much wider audience, and an opportunity to innovate from our research video templates.
Working Arrangements:
- Location: Clapham North office for at least three days per week, with the flexibility to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. Flexibility is needed on remote days when a shoot or recording is scheduled.
- Availability: Ideally available immediately or within a notice period of four weeks or less.
Key Responsibilities
- Video Production: Coordinate with our Research team to shoot 15-20 short videos per month. The team are equipped with their own self-recording equipment, so you are not required to be present for all recordings.
- Post-Production: Post-produce the videos, adding in basic graphics and visualisations to help tell a story to our clients. Our Head of Creative has a graphic design background and can assist with this stage of production.
- Compliance: Collaborate with our compliance team to ensure all videos have been reviewed following the correct process, ensuring they are finished to a high-quality and approved for publishing to our website and app.
- Audio Development: Collaborate with our Research and Sales teams as we produce weekly audio-focused content, being responsible for recording, editing, and helping us to build a new format for our research output.
- Marketing Content: Continue to build our bank of marketing video assets through collaboration with our Chief Commerical Officer and Head of Creative. We are looking to produce 5-10 short videos per year with this role.
- Equipment Management: Maintain our audio-visual inventory, ensuring the Research team have cameras, microphones, memory cards, and batteries that are all working and ready to go.
- Innovation: Bring fresh ideas for new video formats and process improvements to help evolve our video brand.

Criteria we are looking for:
- A minimum of three years’ experience working in audio and video production and editing.
- Proficiency with both DJI and Canon cameras.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite for video editing.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop is preferred, but not essential, for assisting with graphic and design content.
