Site Manager – Industrial
• Milton Keynes, Bucks
• £250 – £275 per day
• March 2025
• Contract / Temp to Permanent option
We have been approached by a principal contractor to search for a Site Manager to oversee industrial projects in and around the Milton Keynes area. Established for over 30 years, this regional contractor has served clients with integrity and a non-adversarial approach for a sustained period of time.
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for steel frame projects ranging from £250,000 – £5m across the industrial, automotive, education, and healthcare sectors. Your responsibilities will include:
- Day to day management of all site activities
- Management of sub-contractors
- Workload delegation and monitoring
- Site Inductions
- Organise & chair weekly meetings
- Ensuring high standards of health and safety
Experience and Attributes:
- Ideally, you will have at least 10 years\’ proven experience of delivering projects from start to finish
- Hold a current CSCS, 1st Aid, and SMSTS
- Steel frame and r/c frame experience, ideally within the industrial sector
- The position will suit a meticulous and tenacious personality who has good people skills with excellent communication
