As the Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our client’s customer base. You will identify new business opportunities, strengthen relationships with current clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development within the building supplies sector. Business Development Executive – Builders Merchant – Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities Account Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key existing clients Work with the sales team to create and implement business development plans to meet revenue targets. Develop a deep understanding of our building materials Collaborate with internal teams Network in order to build relationships Lead negotiations on pricing, terms and contracts Business Development Executive – Builders Merchant – Key Requirements: Experience in the building supplies industry is essential. Proven track record in business development and sales. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-first mindset. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good knowledge of building materials A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as required. Salary: Up to £38,000 – £45,000 + annual bonus Hours: Monday – Friday Benefits: Company car Laptop Pension scheme.
