Job Title: Junior Internal Communications SpecialistLocation: Slough, UK About the RoleMy client is looking for a Junior Internal Communications Specialist to join our global team and help shape how we connect with employees worldwide. In this role, you’ll manage and develop our intranet as the central hub for company information, train and support content editors, track engagement metrics and contribute to storytelling initiatives across multiple channels. You’ll also create dynamic visual content (videos, animations and graphics) to bring business stories to life and engage employees across all locations.This is the perfect opportunity for someone with a background in marketing, journalism, or digital media who is looking to broaden their skills in internal communications, combine creativity with strategy, and make a real impact across a global organization.Our client is a leading global partner in the healthcare and life sciences industry, driving innovation to improve and extend lives. With a presence in multiple countries, they offer a collaborative, international work environment where employees have the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects, develop their skills, and make a real difference in advancing health and wellbeing worldwide.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and continuously develop the global intranet platform as the main information hub.Train and guide content editors and end users to ensure effective content creation and engagement.Measure and analyze intranet and internal communications data to inform improvements.Craft editorial calendars and write or re-purpose content for internal announcements and stories.Collaborate with stakeholders to create visually compelling videos, animations and graphics.Support the implementation of internal communication initiatives and projects as assigned.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design or a related field.1–3 years of experience in communications, marketing or digital content creation.Strong skills in design and video creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, After Effects).Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.Comfortable working in a complex, multinational environment.Highly organized, creative, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
