Role & Responsibilities
- Member of the Site Senior Leadership team reporting directly to the Head of Site.
- Ensure all commercial and clinical products manufactured are safe for human use, by implementing and auditing GMP procedures and practices. Serve as the nominated FDBK Production Manager on all site MHRA licences.
- Set and deliver the operations fixed costs budget, ensuring maximum benefit from assets and tracking performance to meet targets.
- Define and execute the incremental change program for the operations team, aligning with strategic development of large-scale manufacturing capabilities.
- Communicate the Operations vision for FDBK and develop strategies balancing business as usual with expansion projects.
- Maintain site inspection readiness plans at all times.
- Lead and promote high standards of Safety, Health, and Environmental practices.
- Improve manufacturing performance through effective people management and training.
- Contribute to site goals as a member of the Leadership Team.
- Develop succession plans to ensure the sustainability of manufacturing and supply chain teams.
- Create policies with long-term organizational impact.
Qualifications And Experience
- Science, Technical or Engineering Degree.
- At least ten years’ experience in GMP manufacturing/operations.
- Minimum of 8 years in senior leadership roles.
- At least 5 years working in a GMP bioscience/pharma environment.
- Experience managing teams of over 10 staff, including goal setting.
- Proven ability to set strategic goals and manage P&L, with data-driven decision-making experience.
- Experience in Change Management or Transformation Projects.
