Main Duties:

  • Supervision : As Head of Department lead a team of store persons, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Financial Management : Use of company financial system in direction of efficient flow in timely manner of Requisition Purchase Order & Invoices with monthly review of expenditure.
  • Stock Control : Review stock levels through regular inventory checks to ensure maximizing OP/OQ philosophies.
  • Quality Assurance : Review Frame agreements every 6 months with Q&A in key points, identify new requirements from lessons learned and follow up accordingly with divisions.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issuances, and returns. Prepare reports as required by management.
  • QHSE : Ensure safety protocols and regulations within the material work area, including proper handling of hazardous materials and adherence to safety procedures as per Business Management System.
  • Equipment Maintenance : Oversee the maintenance and repair of store equipment and facilities, ensuring they are in good working condition. Verify new equipment documentation meets requirements.
  • Workflow Optimization : Evaluation of store operations to improve efficiency and productivity. Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
  • Customer Service : Liaise with Vendors & Internal departments to fulfill orders and address customer inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Continuous Improvement : Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of mobilization operations. Establish quality objectives, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and monitor quality performance.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Awareness of SEMA racking regulations.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Previous experience as a supervisor or team leader.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • High level of commitment to health and safety.

Desirable:

  • FLT License (HSE 117 ACOP Compliant).
  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.

Working Hours: Mon-Fri – 0800–1630

Location: Knowsley, Merseyside

Salary: Competitive, call for details.
