Shotley Bridge Primary and Pre-School is a successful village school situated close to the Durham / Northumberland border. We are currently seeking to appoint a Site Manager to join our team. We are a split site with two separate buildings: Early Years/KS1 is situated around half a mile away from KS2.

Responsibilities:

1. Lock and unlock the school and carry out security checks of the buildings;
2. Manage the health and safety of the school sites;
3. Be responsible for line management of the premises team consisting of caretaker and cleaning staff;
4. Oversee contractors and other external agencies in relation to premises management;
5. Carry out procurement activities for premises related projects seeking quotations when required;
6. Carry out DIY above and beyond the scope of a competent DIY person, completing more specialist work when required.
