LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority based in North London, for a locum lawyer to work in their adult social care, employment and education team. You will specialise in one or more of these three areas of law and advise on a broad caseload of matters.
To apply you will be:
- A UK-qualified solicitor, barrister, or chartered legal executive, with prior UK local government experience.
- Experienced handling a caseload of matters in adult social care, employment, or education.
- Able to attend the office on a hybrid working basis of at least 1 day per week on site.
- Able to conduct advocacy in court, dependent on the business needs of your caseload.
This is a locum role and will be offered on an initial 3-month contract, to extend as necessary. The salary will be negotiable dependent on experience.
