Accounts Manager

Our client is a growing family-run business with a history of excellence and reliability. Due to an impending retirement, they are currently recruiting for someone to join their small finance team overseeing a team of 4 in an Accounts Manager capacity. This will be a fulfilling, varied role and duties will include. Assisting with preparation of management accounts Ownership of the fixed asset register Ensuring purchase and sales ledgers are maintained VAT returnsImport and export VAT Multi-currency transactions Job costing Preparation of monthly payroll CIS returns Annual accounts productionAssisting with year-end audit The successful candidate will have experience working in an SME environment, notably within a manufacturing environment and will have experience of payroll. People management experience is essential as is the ability the pivot when required. Experience working with projects and job costing would be highly desirable as is exposure to CIS. This is a fully site-based role based in modern custom-built premises and the business is really going places. The benefits are great too!
