Company DescriptionEstablished in 1936, Coram\’s Fields is a unique seven-acre park and \”haven for play\” located in Central London. As an independent registered charity, it stands on the historic site of London\’s old Foundling Hospital, a centre for child welfare since the 18th century. Coram\’s Fields offers a variety of services for local children and young people, including a nursery, drop-in sessions, an out-of-school club, a youth centre, and a sports programme. The organisation also hosts events and community organisations aimed at helping and enriching the lives of local families.Role DescriptionWe’re looking for an ambitious and driven Operations Officer to play a key role in running and growing our charity. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same – from managing events in the park to developing partnerships, overseeing our facilities, and keeping our systems running smoothly.What you’ll do:Oversee our central operations, procedures and IT systems (including SharePoint).Manage our internal park events, and oversee and grow our events calendar with exciting new partnerships.Grow the revenue we get from the hire of our halls, youth centre, and sports pitches.Work closely with different teams and stakeholders to deliver a great experience for our community and park visitors.Spot opportunities to improve, problem-solve, and keep everything running to a high standard.What we’re looking for:Ambition, drive, and a positive, “can-do” attitude.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Confidence working with different people and building partnerships.A versatile problem-solver who enjoys responsibility and takes initiative.Why join us?This is a challenging but rewarding role with real responsibility, variety, and the chance to make a visible impact.
