Search and Selection UK is excited to partner with our client in the recruitment of a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager / Nominated Individual for Supported Living Services for Young People across London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a key leadership role, overseeing multiple sites, ensuring compliance with Ofsted,.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operational management of multiple supported living sites across London.
- Act as the Nominated Individual for the service, ensuring adherence to Ofsted regulations.
- Provide leadership, support, and mentorship to site managers, ensuring high standards of care and operational effectiveness.
- Effectively manage budgets across the services, ensuring financial goals are met while maintaining quality.
- Ensure the services deliver high-quality, person-centred care that meets the needs of individuals.
- Travel regularly between sites to support and lead operational teams.
- Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Significant experience managing multiple supported living sites for young people (16 – 25 years olds), particularly in a semi-supported living environment.
- Knowledge of and experience in compliance with Ofsted
- Strong financial management skills, including budget planning and cost control.
- Proven leadership and staff management experience, with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
- Relevant qualifications in Health & Social Care (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care).
- Nominated Individual status or the ability to quickly achieve it.
Desirable Skills:
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, care planning, and risk management.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
