Our client is looking for an exceptional Chief Operating Officer to lead on governance, finance, and operations. As a member of the Senior Leadership team, the successful candidate will have day-to-day overall leadership responsibility for finance, legal, risk management, governance, procurement, impact measurement and health & safety.
You will hold a relevant level 7 qualification in business or finance, together with a finance qualification such as FCA/ACA, FCCA/ACCA or CIMA. With extensive experience in the not-for-profit/charity sector, you will have held a senior level position in an SME organisation and been responsible for finance, technology, and operations.
You will have strong commercial acumen and financial forecasting skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial information and accounting processes. With a proven track record in leading and managing legal and regulatory compliance, you will be able to demonstrate your skills and experience of setting and monitoring organisational budgets and income targets, enabling an organisation to flourish and grow.
An excellent communicator, you will possess strong people management and leadership skills and enjoy working collaboratively, promoting a strong customer service ethos within the teams under your supervision.
