Seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in scripting and environment configuration using tools like HELM and Terraform. This role involves managing network infrastructure and security while overseeing the daily operations and monitoring of systems across multi-cloud environments, primarily in Azure.

Description

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and Support: Oversee the monitoring and first line support of various production environments, ensuring high availability and rapid response to incidents.
  • Infrastructure Automation: Develop and maintain scripts for environment creation and scaling, utilizing DevOps pipelines to manage environments across different geographies efficiently.
  • Network Management: Manage IP whitelisting for VPNs, ensuring correct routing rules are in place to support operations in multiple geographic regions.
  • Security Oversight: Implement and monitor security measures in alignment with cyber intelligence updates, keeping systems protected against the latest threats.
  • DevOps and Scripting: Design and implement DevOps pipelines, employing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate environment spin-ups and scaling configurations.
  • Documentation and Process Management: Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, security protocols, and operational procedures.

Profile

WHO YOU ARE

  • Proven experience in independently managing and supporting production environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in network configuration and security management.
  • Deep understanding of DevOps practices, with expertise in automated environment deployment and pipeline execution.
  • Adaptability to evolving technologies and the ability to implement best practices efficiently.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Expertise in cloud platforms, with a primary focus on Azure and experience in GCP preferred.
  • Proficiency in HELM and Terraform (or similar tools) for environment configuration and deployment.
  • Advanced knowledge of network management, including VPN setups and IP whitelisting.
  • Familiarity with cyber threat intelligence and security best practices.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and setting up customized alerting systems.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps tools and processes, including CI/CD pipeline implementation.

Job Offer

This role is offering:
