People are the most important ingredient in our business recipe, and we are looking for an experienced Chef with fantastic craft skills and a thorough understanding and knowledge of managing allergens to help us create an outstanding food offer at our school site in Godalming, Surrey with approximately 230 children on site. You will be reporting into the Chef Manager at the main school site.

As our ideal Chef you will:
- Have excellent craft skills and some bakery skills/experience
- Have experience of and be competent in managing allergens
- Some experience of working in independent boarding schools preferred
- Have a proven track record of continually improving standards
- Have good communication skills at all levels
- Be passionate about food with a great eye for detail
- Have comprehensive understanding of managing allergens
- Have the ability to manage the kitchen and train the team to standards required
- Have financial and budget awareness
- Have the ability to understand and complete daily all relevant food and health and safety compliance books
The ideal candidate will also have the flexibility to work overtime as required.
