Materials Planner

Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Materials Planner for our client based in South Lanarkshire. Overview The successful candidate will play a key role in managing material requirements, ensuring accurate stockholding, and coordinating with stakeholders to maintain efficient supply chain operations. This position offers the chance to expand technical expertise within a highly professional and regulated industry. Key Responsibilities * Liaising with the Workshop Manager and Supervisors to determine material requirements * Using company MS Database to establish Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) * Maintaining accurate stock records and resolving any discrepancies * Coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials * Managing safety stock levels and ensuring efficient material availability Skills & Experience * Experience within Planning Administrative position * Ability to manipulate data in Microsoft Excel * Strong attention to detail and organisational skills * Ability to work well as part of a team * Enthusiastic about career development within a professional environment Offering * Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 DOE * Company Pension Scheme * 30 days holiday entitlement per year * Additional benefits, including flexi-time and a generous bonus scheme * Full-time, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) * Career development opportunities through industry learning partnerships
