Design Engineer - Aerospace and Defence

At Quest Global UK, we are actively hiring Design Engineer(s) to join one of our Aerospace and Defence project teams based in Chester, UK.

Job Requirements

1. SA WQN CR MOD’s Supporting Kick-off Board (KoB), Requirements Review (RR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Reviews (CDR) and Design for Manufacture (DFM).
2. Compile and Present in Kick-off Board Meeting.
3. Compile Requirements Review Presentation and implement actions.
4. Compile Preliminary Design Review (PDR) presentation and implement actions.
5. Compile Critical Design Review (CDR) presentation and implement actions.
6. A1020 Check Design for Manufacture (DFM) drawings for release.

Work Experience

1. Experience with Wing Aerostructure design and development.
2. Experience with our customer internal programs SA (Single Aisle).
3. Good knowledge of design process, methods and tools.
4. Tools knowledge: CATIA, VPM/PASS SSI, AIRINA, DPDS, Esign, Solings, ICC-ACP, ICC-CADB.
5. Experience with MOD activities like Kick-off Board, Requirements Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review and Design for Manufacture (DFM) stages of design process.
6. A1020 Design check signature.
