Lead/ Senior Network Access Englineer

Are you a Senior/ Lead Network Engineer experienced with Network Access technologies including, GPON/ XGSPON, Calix/ Nokia and with sound knowledge and experience with Adtran? We have an exciting opportunity to join an organization revolutionizing the UK’s digital infrastructure. Working within the engineering team you will lead on network access components including Calix, Nokia and Adtran. To be successful in this role you must have sound knowledge and experience with Adtran. Key responsibilities: Interpret business requirements and recommend solutions/best practices. Solve complex problems with a broad perspective. Utilize functional knowledge to resolve challenges. Serve as a subject matter expert in the function. Lead teams or projects and act as a quality resource. Key skills and experience required: Experienced with Access Network Engineering at scale Expert knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies with a focus on GPON/XGSPON Experienced with Calix/ Nokia OLT Adtran experience / indepth knowledge Expertise in Access Network Service Improvement and technology/platform lifecycle. Experience in mixed vendor environments and technology migrations. Experience in structured planning and project management (agile and waterfall).
