In our continuous journey of growth and innovation at Carnival UK, we are seeking Trade Events Executive to bring fresh insights and expertise to our Cunard department.
Role Overview
As Trade Events Executive you’ll be responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of all travel agent events, both on board and on shore, including our travel agent ship visit programme and familiarisation trips. The events planned will be for a variety of numbers of guests from large-scale events, which may involve working with third parties to deliver, through to intimate events – all created and delivered in line with the Cunard brand.
This varied role is an exciting opportunity for you to be creative and innovative in your approach, tailoring events to suit audience and message being delivered. Based within the Trade, Marketing and Sales Operations Team – you will also enjoy close partnerships with the sales team, Cunard brand team, Cunard marketing team, and the Carnival family of brands.
This pivotal role will involve:
- Supporting Trade Training and Events Manager (TTEM) to create an annual travel agent events plan, that engages and educates travel agents on the Cunard experience, increasing their confidence to sell our voyages. Developing a project schedule for each event, delivering to budget and co-ordinating in consideration of other trade wide and brand events.
- Working with the Trade Marketing Executive to develop content for promoting the event, and capture content during the event, for trade-owned communication channel. Creating and delivering clear event communications to all attendees, including joining instructions and feedback surveys.
- Co-ordinating the delivery of all familiarisation trips and ship visits, ensuring they are interactive and immersive experiences to help travel agents understand the Cunard brand.
- Co-ordinating sponsorship and attendance at travel industry awards, supporting the Trade Training and Events Manager.
- Identifying new initiatives and events to engage our Travel Agent partners and keep Cunard in the forefront of their minds.
This role is positioned at CUK10 level within our organisation and is available on a full-time permanent basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.
Please note that travel, as well as evening and weekend work, may be required for event delivery and hosting of events on board.

The Cunard Sales and Marketing team are instrumental in the success of Cunard and our aim to be the benchmark of luxury travel. Our marketing teams maximize opportunity and create focused, meaningful communications that help to grow existing audiences as well as appealing to new ones. We have experts across advertising, CRM, brand, PR, digital, loyalty and the creative studio who work together collaboratively to create unforgettable holiday happiness. Our sales teams develop and grow partnerships ensuring they have the finest knowledge of our products.
