Recruit4Staff are proud to represent their client, an internationally renowned construction & civil engineering company in their search for a Design Manager to work on a new tender based out of their London or Swindon Offices .
For the successful Design Manager our client is offering:
- Starting salary of £60,000 to £70,000 per annum
- Days role
- Permanent contract
- Generous benefits package
The Role – Design Manager
- To manage design consultant activities and deliverables to ensure they are completed in line with the agreed programme.
- Management of the cost and review of consultant’s submissions with the ultimate aim of providing the Client with the highest quality submission.
- Manage the process, resolution, and communication of all design queries as part of the project.
- Produce monthly reports on design progress and any other design-specific elements.
- Manage and chair all design interface meetings with external parties.
- Review all design deliverables and ensure that they are completed to the expected standard. Challenge and resolve when not.
What our client is looking for in a Design Manager
- Degree qualified or HND/C with substantial design management experience – ESSENTIAL
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) qualification – DESIRABLE
- Will have both substantial construction and design experience.
- A high level of technical knowledge of the complete construction procurement and delivery process – ESSENTIAL
