CLC is one of the UK’s leading property maintenance and refurbishment groups with a turnover of c.£250m, around 1,000 employees and a national presence serving sectors such as social housing, defence, hotel and leisure, healthcare, education, and more.

CLC has grown significantly over the last few years and has ambitious growth plans to double in size in the next 4 years.

To support our continued growth we are looking for a Refurbishment Contracts Manager to join our team in Walsall.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and delivery of a number of projects each ranging from £40k to £2M, ensuring efficient and timely completions.

You must possess:

  1. Previous experience working as a Contracts Manager
  2. Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation
  3. Ability to undertake site surveys to scope and select appropriate solutions to the issues presented
  4. Understanding of the importance of collating evidence for all completed works using systems such as Bolster or Site Audit Pro
  5. Capable of overseeing numerous projects and directly employed operatives and subcontractors
  6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  7. Ability to produce health and safety documentation in line with current legislation
  8. Excellent man management capabilities
  9. Suitable contract management qualifications
  10. SMSTS

This position carries a competitive salary, car allowance, bonus scheme, pension, life insurance, income protection and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
