FLT Driver

· Accurate loading & unloading of vehicles, either manually palletising or using a FLT, checking for missing / damaged product

· Carrying out quality checks throughout all warehouse processes

· Accurate recording of all material movement – manual or / and electronically

· Adhering to processes / procedures as detailed in the Employee handbook

· Picking ‘Work Orders’ and providing a timely supply service to Production Value Streams ensuring no downtime for material shortages. Returning surplus stock to the Warehouse.

· Checking quantity / quality of Finished Goods pallets at the Value Streams before moving the pallets to the relevant loading bays

· Accurate picking of orders to customer specifications & preparing Finished Goods pallets for safe transportation, auto or / and manual wrapping of pallets

· Maintain the Warehouse housekeeping standards working to 5s criteria. Visitor ready at all times.

· Removing of a variety of waste streams to the appropriate disposal points following the site scrap procedure, including keeping accurate records.

· Safely operating a FLT / PPT to move pallets / IBC’s / barrels around the site and stacking pallets within the racking system

· Contribute to the Stock / Cycle Count process, ensuring counts are conducted in a timely manner

· Assist in the development and transfer of new processes

· Undertake relevant training to carry out / improve roles. Apply the training

· Undertake flexible working hours to meet deadlines, provide cover for holidays and absenteeism

· Promote, comply and facilitate the Stanley Black & Decker’s 7 Leadership qualities

Our client is looking for experienced FLT Driver/despatch operative who want to develop their skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Experience of working in a Warehousing environment would be advantageous but not essential., · Excellent numerical and analytical skills

· Good written & oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively

· Worked in a formal Continuous Improvement environment

· Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a positive and committed approach to work, be able to meet deadlines

· Team player who will work with others to achieve company goals

· Methodical with good organisational skills, be able to work under pressure

· Knowledge of environmental, health and safety

· Desirable experience working in FMCG warehouse with 5s and Lean practices

· Flexible and approachable

Monday to Friday ROTATION SHIFTS (The Successful Candidate must be able to work all three shifts)

6am -2pm (Week 1)

2pm-10pm (Week 2)

10pm-6am (Week 3)
