We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to work with our public sector client.
Contract Duration: 6 months
Compensation: Excellent day rate outside IR35
Location: 2 days a week on site in Milton Keynes (occasional travel to London)
The ideal candidate will hold active SC clearance and have experience working within the public sector.
Skills & Experience
- Manage multi-functional teams
- Financial planning and management of projects to ensure delivery within the agreed cost forecasts
- Deliver projects to time, quality and cost, in compliance with internal processes, policies, and all health and safety requirements
- Resource Management, Stakeholder Management, Contract Management, Cost Management, Risk Management
- Deployment of resources
- Proficiency in MS Project or equivalent project planning tool
- Prince 2 Practitioner, APMP, ISEB Certificate in Project Management or equivalent
- Applied project management methodologies in the design, development, and implementation of multidisciplinary projects in Construction, Security, or IT
- Experience in resource management, development, and allocation processes during the last 5 years
- Experience in using NEC3, GC works, and FIDIC contracts and documentation in procuring construction projects
- Commercial awareness
- Experience of Scaled Agile Methodology and Product Management
- Experience with Snow, MSpol, MSProject
- Experience of IT delivery across HMG
