The Role
Strategic HR Business Partner – Finance
Location: London or Bristol
12 month Fixed Term Contract
Are you ready to make a significant impact at Imperial Brands? We are looking for a dynamic and experienced strategic HR professional to join our People & Culture (P&C) team.
As a Strategic HR Business Partner, you’ll be a key player in our P&C Community, working closely with our Finance teams to shape and drive our People and Culture agenda.
In this influential role, you’ll act as an internal consultant, leveraging your business acumen and industry knowledge to provide expert advice to align business needs with our P&C priorities, ensuring seamless operational delivery of our P&C Operating Models.

Principle Accountabilities
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with our Finance team to drive strategic objectives and enhance business performance.
- Insightful Influence: Provide valuable insights into workforce and culture, translating business strategy into actionable People Strategies.
- Leadership & Change: Lead initiatives, facilitate change, and identify opportunities to unlock business value.
- Global Policy Rollout: Support the implementation of Global CoE policies and frameworks, such as Talent & Succession Management, Connected Performance, and more.
- Senior Leadership Support: Guide and coach senior leaders, ensuring the successful rollout and embedding of strategic initiatives.
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience in strategic HR Business Partnering within a similar role and environment.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, building trust and rapport across all levels.
- Ability to translate business strategy into people strategy, with strong influencing skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and change management abilities.
- Experience in strategic workforce planning and coaching senior managers.
- Understanding of global matrix organisations and business complexities.
- Proficiency in data analysis and storytelling to inform decision-making.
