Job Description

Responsibilities

  1. Install and commission domestic gas systems, appliances, and equipment including boilers, cookers, and gas fires.
  2. Ensure all installations meet regulatory standards and safety requirements.
  3. Perform routine servicing of gas appliances to ensure optimal performance.
  4. Diagnose faults, repair, and maintain gas systems and appliances as needed.
  5. Test systems to ensure they meet the safety standards outlined by the relevant gas regulations.
  6. Conduct annual gas safety checks and issue certificates where required.
  7. Ensure compliance with relevant gas safety legislation, including the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations.
  8. Complete risk assessments and site surveys before work commencement to ensure safety.
