Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative

• Operate Forklifts: Safely operate forklifts to move materials around the warehouse.

• Load and Unload: Load and unload products from trucks, pallets, and other transport vehicles.

• Stock movement: Stack and store materials in designated areas and recording on computer system

• Inspect Equipment: Perform daily safety checks on forklifts and report any defects.

• Safety Compliance: Ensure loads are properly secured and balanced, and comply with company policies and legal guidelines.

• Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of the forklift and surrounding areas of the warehouse.

• Quality Assurance: Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.

• Assist in Warehouse Operations: Help maintain a safe and orderly environment.

Your Experience

We are seeking a committed and positive individual, ideally with previous experience working within a Warehouse environment. Experience within a FMCG/food manufacturing would be a positive.

You will possess a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, have excellent problem-solving skills and be well organised. Fluency in English, both verbal and written is essential together with good numerical ability., * Experience: Proven experience as a forklift operator.

• Certification: Valid certification to operate forklifts.

• Physical Condition: Excellent physical condition and coordination.

• Communication: Good communication skills to coordinate with other warehouse staff.
